Family Bike Ride

We decided to take a lovely bike ride on Sunday afternoon. Well by the time we aired the tires and got loaded in the truck it was quite toasty outside. So...we ended up eating a late lunch/early dinner at Subway. Then, later that evening we piled back in the truck and went on that bike ride. It was funny watching Roman handle his bike. Sometimes I would worry as he would come screaming down a hill that he would lose control. He would just start pedaling faster and get himself back under control. He has only been riding without training wheels for a few weeks. This is just another representation of how this child does life. Fast and under his own steam.

Jumping & Tree Climbing Fun

Papa was out of town for business and we decided to take some pictures of what the kids were doing. That way he wouldn't miss out as much. Arista was jumping on the trampoline and Denny and Roman were climbing a tree.

Roman's 5th Birthday

Our sweet Roman turned 5 this month (May) he had an awesome Iron Man birthday party. The kids rode on the inflatable waterslide, broke a pinata, and played games.

Roman started to think his birthday party would never come. He turned 5 then had to wait an extra week for his birthday party due to bad weather. He managed fine and had a great birthday.

I just had to put this one in too....sister Arista looks too funny with the blue frosting face.

No Accounting For Taste

While we were at the Dinosaur Museum, we decided to have dinner. Denny made a strange concoction with his Chili Cheese Dog. He added mustard, ketchup, and barbeque sauce. He has always been my most adventurous eater. He likes sushi and also has even tasted BBQ Mealworms. (last year at dino museum) As you can see from the picture, Denny's friend was not impressed with the food outlook.

Dino Museum Time - April 08

I took the kids to the Dinosaur Museum while Spence was in Vegas. We brought along one of Denny's friends Colton. While we were there we had a great time. This was the first time that we were there that Arista was old enough to run around and participate.

Denny and his friend Colton being funny.

Here is the gang at the museum, some kind of ancient Shark.

Denny at the Erosion Table

Roman at the Erosion Table - mad that I'm taking another picture.

Arista before getting taken away from Erosion Table. Throwing sand was way too much fun.

Backyard Park

We had a family get together on Sunday for our cousins baby shower. Roman and his cousin dressed up in Superhero gear.

Arista climbing up to the monkey bars. She will climb up and just hang till someone comes and grabs her.

Denny with his cousin Jamie, riding on the airplane teeter-totter.

Symphony - Video Games Music

We took Denny to the symphony for the 1st time. They were holding a concert called "Video Games Live". We had a great time. They played music from the early video games "Pac Man" and some of the current stuff, "Call of Duty" & "Halo". The music was fun and some of it very moving.

The redish orange curly stuff is a Glass Sculpture that looks like a big tree. Each individual curl is hand blown glass.

Easter Sunday

Easter Candy Hunt

Our friends had an Easter Candy Hunt. In the past they put them into eggs, now they just make a fun free-for-all with over 8,000 pieces of candy and toys spread across the park by their house. Arista started early collecting her favorites...lollipops.

Roman was in heaven with all the candy, he got so excited waiting that he ran around with the bucket on his head.

Denny and his friends came up with a strategy to work together. In the end they had more candy than any of them could eat.

After all of the candy and fun this was the sugar crash.
